Growing into himself, Jacob Ritter is finding himself stripping back sounds and the makeup of his music to find a truer form of the songs. Ritter’s start in music has always been through a band with plenty of volume and energy. The craft now has more of a sit back and listen type of stature. Songs about change, observations of our daily walk. “The truth is being found in these songs for myself and the world around me.”

Ritter has led the country-rock outfit The Wilson Springs Hotel from Richmond, VA for a number of years and in addition is now beginning his solo path into the music industry. The songs can make you laugh, cry and think harder about things you try to avoid.
